Eneraque is seeking an experienced coded pipe welder to join our Brisbane team in a permanent role.
This is a hands-on technical pipe welding role working across carbon steel and stainless-steel pipework for energy, fuel, gas, industrial and infrastructure projects. We need a proven tradesperson who can deliver high-quality welds to approved procedures across a range of pipe sizes, materials and site conditions.
This is not a general fabrication role. We are looking for someone with genuine pipe welding experience, strong safety discipline and the ability to work to project quality requirements.
The role includes - Welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipework
- Working across fuel, gas, energy, industrial and infrastructure projects
- Workshop and site-based pipe welding work
- Working to WPS, ITPs, drawings, weld maps and QA documentation
- Supporting fit-up, inspection, testing and project delivery
- Maintaining high standards around hot work, site safety and quality control
- Working with supervisors, fitters, project teams and inspectors to deliver compliant work
You will need- Proven coded pipe welding experience
- Experience welding carbon steel and/or stainless-steel pipework
- Ability to pass Eneraque’s weld test
- Ability to read drawings and follow approved welding procedures
- Strong understanding of weld quality, preparation, fit-up and finishing requirements
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in controlled site environments
- White Card
- Current Australian work rights, or eligibility for employer sponsorship
Highly regarded - Pressure welder, Welder First Class or equivalent trade background
- TIG pipe welding experience
- Stainless-steel pipe welding experience
- 6G pipe welding experience
- ASME IX, ISO 9606 or equivalent weld coding history
- Experience in fuel, gas, LNG, utilities, mining, process piping, water treatment, food-grade stainless or pressure piping
- Forklift, EWP, confined space or working at heights tickets
- Experience working in QA-controlled project environments
