WesTrac are looking for a motivated Service Rebuild Advisor to join our South Guildford Component Rebuild Centre supporting our CRC Engines Team.
Reporting to the Area Manager, as the Service Rebuild Advisor (SRA), you will collaborate closely with maintenance technicians throughout the strip down, cleaning, and assembly processes, with a strong emphasis on parts reusability. Your responsibilities will include recommending and approving the reuse, salvage, or replacement of parts, contributing to final costings, and conducting thorough inspections before product release.
As a key member of our team, you will also provide technical assistance with Failure Analysis (FA) reporting and help develop Component Appraisal Reports (CAR). Location: Guildford Roster: 5 Days 2 Off 10.5hrs (Monday to Friday – Permanent Full Time)
To be successful the following is required:
  • Mechanical trade qualification preferred but not essential/ or tertiary qualification in mech-discipline/ or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to meet CRC KPI's with the timely delivery of customer reports.
  • Ability to provide accurate reports on reusability guidelines on components being overhauled in the CRC facility will be critical in this role.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Strong Coaching and Mentoring skills
  • Stakeholder Engagement and organisation skills will be essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Microsoft suite, SMART sheet experience.
  • DBS Experience advantageous.
  • Workplace Trainer / Assessor would be well regarded but not essential.
