HGV / LGV Mechanic (UK Visa sponsorship)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Mechanic to join our client's maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before failure occurs.
• Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience as a HGV mechanic or in a similar technical role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately.
• Must have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
