Care Service Employee

Provide a comprehensive service for the residents following WH&S/Manual Handling and Infection Control Standards. Willingness to work a rotating shifts, including weekend work. (unless discussed previously) Ensure privacy and maintain dignity. Maintain a safe environment for self, colleagues and residents, visitors and contractors. Complete all tasks assigned to them with regards to their role within the facility. Understanding of Accreditation and ability to implement strategies and interventions required by the organisation Participate in resident reviews and contribute experiences for care management Participate in implementation of agreed care services including mobility, behaviour supports. Communicate effectively with Client/Residents, relatives and other health professionals. Document care in client/resident forms and progress notes and other required documentation. Participate in Handover. Provide personal care to residents/clients as per care plan Maintain a well-groomed appearance accordance with standards of Murravale Retirement Home Ltd Engage in further education by attendance at service program sessions and external courses. Maintain the confidentiality of resident/client and staff information. Actively participate in quality improvement activities for all work areas. Work independently as well as effectively with team members from all departments Completion of Mandatory Education. Report hazards and other issues in the work environment Ensure that incidents are reported on and participate in investigations Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 38 per week Benefits:
