You help people communicate and swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. You take responsibility for effectively and efficiently delivering rehab services, designing plans, and working with patients to execute them.You're a healer and a helper, which is why you chose this line of work.You are equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing each patient as an individual. A master's degree in speech-language pathology, communication disorders, communicative disorders, or a similarly titled area that is consistent with and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.2. A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow. We will also consider candidates who are eligible to obtain the Certificate of Clinical Competence.3.
