Your days will be varied and fastpaced, balancing handson recruitment activity with relation shipbuilding across a wide network of hiring managers, clinicians and operational leaders. You will take full ownership of your vacancies from the moment they are approved shaping compelling adverts, sourcing candidates directly, engaging talent proactively and guiding applicants through every stage of the process. You will be the key point of contact for both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth, professional and timely experience for everyone involved. Alongside day today recruitment delivery, you will help strengthen our wider workforce strategy by contributing to talent pipelines, supporting employer branding activity, and using data to improve how we attract and secure clinical professionals. Role Profile Reporting to the Director of HR, the Recruitment Specialist plays a key role in supporting Promni Healths continued national growth by delivering high quality, high volume recruitment across allied healthcare professional (AHP) and nursing vacancies. This is a full 360 recruitment role focused exclusively on direct recruitment. Promni Health operates a fully inhouse recruitment model with no reliance on external agencies, meaning the role centres on proactive sourcing, talent attraction, pipeline building, stakeholder engagement and effective vacancy management. We are seeking someone who can hit the ground running and independently manage recruitment activity from day one. You will already have experience recruiting AHPs and/or nurses within a fastpaced healthcare environment. Working alongside an established Recruitment Specialist and the wider HR team, you will partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to attract, engage and secure high quality clinical talent across England. You will manage approximately 10-20 live vacancies at any one time, taking ownership of the end to end recruitment lifecycle including:
- Vacancy briefing
- Advert creation
- Direct sourcing and headhunting
- Applicant screening
Interview coordination - Offer management
- Recruitment reporting
You will also support workforce planning, employer branding and the development of innovative recruitment strategies for difficult to fill roles. Success will be measured through vacancy reduction, time to hire, candidate quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities - Administer the full recruitment process for assigned vacancies, including advert creation, interview coordination, issuing conditional offers and contracts.
- Support the HR & Governance Administrator with preemployment checks (DBS, , professional registration, references) in line with NHS Employment Check Standards.
- Support certificate of sponsorship applications using the UKVI Sponsorship Management System (SMS).
- Provide recruitment advice to hiring managers and applicants, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
