  • Successfully passed NCLEX Exam
  • A registered nurse (RN) License in the US or Canada.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
  • One or more years’ nursing experience in Ob/gyn

Position Type: Full Time Registered NurseSchedule: Days Shift and Night shifts available, full time hours - 36 hours a week, rotating weekends.Shifts: 12 hour shifts — 3 per weekPay Differentials by shift: Includes shift differentials Job Description:
  • Provide specialized nursing care to pregnant patients throughout the stages of antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal health by assessing vital signs, performing routine checks, and using equipment such as fetal monitors.
  • Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and cesarean sections, ensuring safe and efficient care.
  • Educate expectant mothers and families on prenatal health, birthing options, breastfeeding, and postpartum care.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and epidurals as prescribed, and monitor for potential side effects or complications.
  • Respond promptly to obstetrical emergencies such as preterm labor, hemorrhage, or fetal distress, providing life-saving interventions when needed.
  • Support new mothers with infant care techniques, including bathing, feeding, and swaddling.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
