Head of Financial Reporting & Enterprise Risk

Real Group is a New Zealand mental health and wellbeing organisation that provides community-based recovery, peer support, housing, and social services for people experiencing mental health and addiction challenges.A Head of Financial Reporting & Enterprise Risk is a senior finance leadership role responsible for financial governance, statutory reporting, internal controls, compliance, and enterprise-wide risk management. The position typically reports to the CFO and works closely with executive leadership and the board. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting

• Lead statutory and management reporting under NZ IFRS.
• Oversee month-end, year-end close, and audit processes.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and disclosures.
• Manage tax compliance, treasury, cash flow, and balance sheet integrity.
• Provide technical accounting advice to executives and business units.

Enterprise Risk Management

• Own and maintain the enterprise risk framework.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report strategic and operational risks.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.
• Present risk reports and insights to the Executive Team and Board.
• Promote a strong risk and compliance culture across the organization.

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and develop finance and risk teams.
• Drive finance transformation, automation, and process improvements.
• Support strategic planning, capital structure, and business growth initiatives.
• Partner with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.

Pay: $10,000.00 – $15,000.00 per monthBenefits:
