Role: Head Chef - Academy Restaurant Department: Hospitality Tourism and Events Management Grade: BSUP7 - £39,423 - £46,761 per annum Responsible to: Head of Department of Hospitality Tourism and Events Management Campus: Belfast Permanent / Full-Time Job Purpose Overlooking St Anne's Cathedral on York Street, Belfast, Academy is a haven in the city centre where you can enjoy truly memorable dining experiences. As part of Ulster University, we are proud of our state-of-the-art educational centre incorporating a restaurant, culinary school, beverage school and conference and meeting facilities. https://www.academyrestaurant.co.uk/ The Head Chef will undertake the operational management and leadership of food production services and kitchen operations in the Academy; the Centre for Food, Drink and Culture, through supporting and guiding the kitchen teams and students in consistently delivering quality, variety of food and menus on offer to customers to the agreed standards, whilst ensuring fulfilment of the Academy’s educational, civic and commercial objectives under the guidance of the Academy Business Manager and the Head of Department of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management We may create a 12-month waiting list for same or similar roles within the Department / Faculty.
