Job Description:
A well-established, highly regarded private allied health practice in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs is expanding its multidisciplinary team and seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist proficient in Mandarin to join them. Operating for over 20 years and NDIS-registered, this warm, values-led clinic has built a strong reputation for evidence-based, client-centred therapy and long-term staff retention. This is a fantastic opportunity for an OT who wants to work alongside an experienced, collegiate multidisciplinary team, with the clinical support of a well-established practice behind them. About the location The clinic is located in one of Sydney's most desirable beachside precincts, minutes from world-famous coastal walks, uncrowded beaches, a buzzing café and dining scene, and a genuine local community. You'll be well connected by public transport, close to major hospitals and universities, and enjoying all the lifestyle of the Eastern Suburbs without a CBD commute. The catchment is family-heavy and well-referred, meaning a full, steady caseload from day one. Your caseload Predominantly paediatric focus with scope to see adult clients depending on interest and experience Toddlers, preschool, school-age and teens — with presentations including autism, developmental delay, sensory processing, fine and gross motor delays, handwriting and school-readiness, and functional independence Assessment, therapy delivery, functional capacity assessments and family/school liaison Close collaboration with an experienced in-house Speech Pathology team Mix of NDIS (50%), private and Medicare clients Primarily clinic-based one-on-one sessions with scope for community, school and telehealth work as needed What you'll need Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy General AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapy Board of Australia) Proficiency in Mandarin A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience working as an Occupational Therapist NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) Working with Children Check Australian driver's licence Full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate — please enquire) What's on offer Permanent full-time role with genuine work-life balance Established client base — you walk into a warm caseload, no need to build from scratch Work alongside an experienced, tight-knit multidisciplinary team Structured supervision, mentoring and clinical peer review Generous CPD allowance and OT Australia membership support Assessment tools, therapy resources and admin support so you can focus on clinical work Warm, values-led leadership with a genuine open-door culture Beachside location, easy commute, lifestyle you'll love How to apply: For more information about this opportunity please send your CV to ania@mediix.com.au
