Airflite is an Australian company that has been in business for over 40 years and is involved in all aspects of aviation including aircraft sales, leasing, maintenance, product support, pilot training and defense.We have offices around Australia with a worldwide reach and numerous OEM partnerships which provide us with the support and strength to succeed.NDT Technician Job Description We are looking to hire an experienced NDT technician to conduct rigorous NDT tests in accordance with approved data – mainly on Aircraft, Propellers and Wheels. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up testing equipment, conducting material tests, interpreting and reporting results.To be successful as an NDT technician, you should have extensive experience with NTD technologies, strong attention to detail, and meticulous reporting skills. Ultimately, a top-notch NDT technician provides reliable and detailed information about structural stability leading to improved quality and safety.NDT Technician Responsibilities:
  • Conducting rigorous tests on aircraft structures and materials using non-destructive techniques.
  • Identifying material defects.
  • Interpreting test results.
  • Completing test reports, and presenting findings.
  • Traveling to clients' locations.

NDT Technician Requirements:
  • Level II certified for Eddy Current and Ultrasonic testing
  • 3+ years' experience as an NDT technician.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent report-writing skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • AINDT certifying body or equivalent international standard (NAS410 or ISO 9712)
  • Ideally have Aerospace experience but not essential
