Maintenance Electrician

Experienced Maintenance Electricians Wanted! Southern Riverina Region. Requires valid license, certifications, previous maintenance experience

• Perform scheduled maintenance activities across the Southern Riverina region
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults and process breakdowns proactively
• Recognised Certification, valid license and strong safety focus
• Relocation assistance for the right candidate
• Visa sponsorship offered to qualified overseas candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance activities across the Southern Riverina region
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults and process breakdowns proactively
• Follow established safety protocols while mentoring and training apprentices
• Identify opportunities for improving plant and equipment reliability and efficiency
• Engage in root cause analysis of breakdowns and contribute to process improvement efforts
• Complete all required safety, quality, and task documentation electronically
• Participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives to create a safer workplace

Essential Requirements:

• NSW-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Engineering – Electrical/Electronic Trade or equivalent)
• Valid Electrical License
• Current Driver’s License

Highly Desirable Skills:

• PLC programming experience
• Industrial diagnostic and fault-finding expertise
• Proficient computer literacy
• Strong mechanical understanding
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• A strong commitment to safety and work ethic, with problem-solving ability and initiative
• Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable to changing work demands
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and handle extended hours during harvest in line with fatigue management guidelines
