Branch Manager – Automotive Industry (MOT Centre)
Location: Southampton
Salary: Competitive + Benefits

If so, we want to hear from you!We are a rapidly growing MOT Centre looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Branch Manager to join our team. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring an efficient, high-quality service for all customers.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the booking of MOTs, services, and repair work.
  • Distribute and control the workload of a skilled team of technicians and MOT testers, maximising workshop efficiency and quality output.
  • Ensure customers are kept informed throughout their vehicle’s service, from booking to completion.
  • Handle customer queries with confidence, both face-to-face and over the phone, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Produce accurate invoices for completed work.
  • Manage stock, including tyre orders and fast-fit parts, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Lead and manage staff, promoting a positive, collaborative working environment.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the Fast Fit/Retail Automotive industry, ideally in a similar management role.
  • Strong knowledge of tyre fitting, service repairs, and MOT processes.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle queries effectively and professionally.
  • Experience in staff management and team coordination.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a busy environment.
