We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to support the smooth operation of our Kitchen Department. Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will assist in the preparation and service of top-tier food, ensure food safety and hygiene standards, and contribute to daily kitchen operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef with strong culinary skills and a collaborative mindset to grow in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items to high standards.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene protocols and keep the kitchen organized.
• Support daily kitchen operations and collaborate with front-of-house staff for efficient service.
• Participate in menu execution, special menu items, and function catering as required.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• Food Safety Supervisor certification (preferred).
• First Aid certification (preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
