Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will play a vital part in creating a positive dining experience for our customers while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the preparation process.
• Assist in the preparation of other food items as needed, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Upsell additional items to customers, enhancing their dining experience while increasing sales.
• Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing utensils and equipment after use.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.

Skills

• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
• Culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure compliance in food handling practices.
• Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
• A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to a team environment.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is advantageous but not essential.
