Gas Engineer/ plumber/electrician ( multi skilled person )

Job Summary Easylet Property Management are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer/Plumber who has good electrical knowledge to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in gas installation and maintenance. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with industry standards and regulations. The Gas Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting installations in both residential and commercial settings. Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, systems, and equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Diagnose faults in gas systems and provide effective solutions.
• Perform plumbing tasks related to gas installations.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
• Carry out heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble components accurately.
• Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to installations.
• Experience in commercial driving may be advantageous for transporting equipment.
• Competence in welding techniques is a plus but not essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
