Senior RFIC Design Engineer

This is a superb opportunity for a Senior RF IC Design Engineer to join a brand-new IC design team, part of a growing fabless Semiconductor start-up.
Based in Cambridge, our client is pioneering a smarter way forward in the design of wireless technology. They have developed a breakthrough solution that simplifies design architectures, streamlines production and reduces supply chain waste. They have been identified as start-up to watch and are on a strong upward trajectory with big expansion plans.
To join their freshly-created IC Design team, they seek a Senior RF IC Design Engineer to be responsible for:

• Designing RF circuits including wide band LNAs, RF switches, digitally tunable capacitors and other Analog circuits
• Supporting silicon RF IC circuit integration into multi-chip Modules
• Setting up co-simulation environments, developing simulation models
• Using RF measurement equipment and troubleshooting measurement issues
• Mentoring less experienced IC Engineers in the group, and drive innovation within the company

The successful applicant will have:

• Established experience in RF IC Design with extensive experience with Cadence tools
• Experience in RF IC Design using various silicon technologies, including SOI as well as detailed transistor level knowledge including LNAs
• Experience with the Cadence toolsuite
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the drive to really make an impact within a fast-moving start-up.
