JOB DETAILS: POSITION: Sr. Test Lead/Manager (Environment) JOB REF#: 43476 DURATION: 12 Months To Hire (Contract To Hire) LOCATION: ONSITE - Plano, TX 75024 PAY RATE: OPEN/MARKET RATE (W2 ONLY or H1B Transfer)
This role is 100% ONSITE with potential to go full-time after 1 year
Test Environment Lead is responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of test environments to ensure smooth and efficient testing operations. This role involves coordinating with various teams to maintain stable and reliable test environments, implementing best practices for environment management, and continuously improving processes to support high-quality software testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Oversee maintaining quality of the domain, someone who has experience with mitigating risks, proposing solutions etc. • Ensure that the test environments align with testing requirements, remain available, and remain stable for use by the testing team. • Accountable for identifying and resolving issues with test environments, coordinating with various stake, holders to ensure on-time delivery of environments, and managing test data effectively. • Ensures the quality of software products by facilitating effective testing activities, STRONG DevOps experience. • Act as primary contact for managing and optimizing test environments, ensuring seamless and efficient testing processes. • Work with Test Data Management and Domain Quality Lead(s) to create a plan and timeline to integrate or update test environments. • Committed to ensuring that the environment is of high quality and supports accurate and reliable testing.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • Automotive sector knowledge is REQUIRED. • 6+ years of as a Test Lead/Manager, having successfully led testing projects, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. • Experience managing testing and engineering teams • Excellent project management skills, having successfully managed multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing and allocating resources. • Deep expertise in product management and software development life-cycle • In-depth knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, practices, and tools, including test automation frameworks. • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, and the ability to align quality engineering practices with these approaches. • Advanced experience and understanding of AWS • Deep understanding of hardware, software, network, and data configurations to design, implement, and maintain the test environment. • Effective communication - ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including development, operations, and other teams. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. • A broad understanding of software and data testing techniques and best practices
DESIRED SKILLS: • Advanced degree • Scrum master certification or PMP • Experience working in a financial and banking industries
