Job Description Summary
Saint Leo University is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Associate Director of Out-of-Region, International, and Graduate Admissions. This critical role oversees recruitment and enrollment strategy across three key student populations: domestic students outside Florida and the Southeast, international students, and graduate students. The ideal candidate will bring experience in building data-driven recruitment strategies, managing complex CRM workflows, coaching recruiters, and fostering strong cross-departmental partnerships to drive enrollment growth.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Enrollment Planning
- Design and implement recruitment strategies for out-of-region domestic markets, international territories, and graduate programs.
- Align international recruitment with SEVIS/I-20 requirements, embassy protocols, and agent partnerships.
- Segment graduate outreach based on audience type, including working professionals, online learners, and international applicants.
* Application-to-Deposit Conversion Management
- Own the full funnel from inquiry through deposit for all assigned populations.
- Collaborate with Financial Aid, Graduate Programs, and DSO to coordinate seamless hand-offs.
- Monitor conversion rates and identify opportunities to improve yield and reduce melt.
Recruiter Oversight and Coaching
- Supervise recruiters focused on graduate and international markets.
- Monitor outbound calling efforts and provide real-time coaching and performance feedback.
- Train staff on cultural sensitivity, compliance issues, and best practices for audience-specific engagement.
CRM and Lead Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of leads in the CRM, ensuring accurate data capture, segmentation, and follow-up.
- Build workflows for international and graduate-specific processes, including document verification and agent interactions.
- Partner with Marketing and Operations to ensure campaigns align with recruitment goals and audience behaviors.
- Counselor on Duty and Campus Engagement
- Serve on a rotating schedule as Counselor on Duty, supporting student visits, walk-ins, and tours.
- Handle complex questions from prospective graduate and international students.
- Maintain high-touch, solution-oriented service that reflects Saint Leo's values and student-first commitment.
Agent Relations and Partner Coordination
- Manage relationships with international agents, including onboarding, training, and performance tracking.
- Oversee agent invoicing and ensure application integrity and partner responsiveness.
- Foster engagement with international high schools and graduate program stakeholders.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Collaborate with Operations on document processing and compliance workflows.
- Partner with Marketing on seasonal campaign timing and message development.
- Coordinate with Graduate Program Directors and Academic Affairs to ensure admissions messaging and requirements are current and accurate.
Data and Trend Analysis
- Monitor KPIs across territories and student types to inform decision-making.
- Analyze lead source effectiveness and enrollment outcomes by region and program.
- Present strategic updates and insights to institutional leadership.
Institutional Representation and Advocacy
- Represent Saint Leo at domestic and international recruitment events, virtual sessions, and conferences.
- Host campus visits for key international and graduate partners.
- Identify opportunities to enhance student experience and advocate for systems improvements based on applicant feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- At least five years of progressive admissions or enrollment management experience, preferably including international and/or graduate populations.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and leading strategic recruitment initiatives.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and knowledge of SEVIS compliance and global admissions trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; culturally responsive and detail-oriented.?
