Healthcare Assistant (EU Citizen)

Job Description:
Our Partner specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care. ​ We are seeking a dedicated candidate Healthcare Assistant - HCA to join our team in providing personalized care and support to individuals living with dementia in our Nursing Home based in multiple location in Ireland.
Permanent, Full-time 39 Hours per Week    Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging in meaningful interactions and activities tailored to individual preferences and abilities
• Support residents in participating in recreational activities and therapeutic programs designed to promote social engagement
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for residents
• Participate in ongoing training and education initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills in dementia care and best practices
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with residents and their families

Requirements:

• Healthcare QQI Level 5 (or similar)
• Two or more years of experience providing elder care; strong cooperation and communication abilities
• Excellent motivational and managerial abilities
• A degree in OR nursing, allied health, or healthcare
