This is a unique hybrid role for a seasoned professional who is passionate about both meticulous media planning and diving deep into the technical, hands-on execution of digital campaigns. You will be a vital part of our positive and collaborative team, working with high-profile regional, national, and global brands to optimise their media presence. About the roleAs our Media Planner, you will be a central figure in the media team, responsible for the end-to-end success of our clients' campaigns. Your hybrid role will balance comprehensive media planning with in-platform execution.
  • Develop comprehensive, integrated media plans that align with client objectives and deliver measurable results.

  • Conduct audience or market research and competitor analysis' to unearth insights that inform channel selection and budget allocation for media plans.

  • Create and present compelling media proposals, budget recommendations, and detailed media schedules to clients.

  • Take ownership of digital campaign activation, including account structure, setup, and targeting across key platforms, with a primary focus on the Google and Meta ecosystems.

  • Actively monitor, manage, and optimise campaigns to drive performance, improve ROI, and achieve client KPIs.

  • Utilise your granular expertise to analyse campaign data, identify trends, and implement A/B tests and other experiments to unlock potential.

  • Look for opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness through automation, new tools, and improved internal processes.

About youYou are an analytical thinker with a passion for the practical application of digital marketing. You thrive in a role where you can meticulously plan media and then dive into campaign optimisation.
  • Experience: You have 3-5+ years of experience in media planning and/or digital marketing, with a proven track record in a mid-weight or specialist role.

  • Hybrid Expertise: Your career is built on a solid foundation in both traditional and digital media principles. Crucially, you possess deep, hands-on execution expertise within the Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms—this is a core, non-negotiable part of your skillset.

  • Budget & Platform Mastery: You are highly experienced in managing significant annual budgets, with a proven track record of overseeing $500k - $1M+ on core digital platforms to drive performance.

  • Integrated Knowledge: Beyond search and social, you have a strong working knowledge of the broader digital landscape, including programmatic advertising (including BVOD & SVOD), digital out-of-home (DOOH), audio, and display.

  • Analytical & Tech-Savvy: You possess an "AI mentality"—a curiosity for leveraging new technologies to find hidden value. You are proficient with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, GTM) and project management software (e.g., Jira).

  • Collaborative & Communicative: You are an excellent communicator, comfortable supporting in client meetings, presenting media plans, and managing your time in a busy agency environment. You are a collaborative team player, eager to share knowledge and contribute to the growth of the media team.
