Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to oversee the daily operations of a restaurant, manage supplier relationships, and lead the juice bar operations. This multifaceted role requires an individual who is passionate about the food and beverage industry, with strong managerial, organizational, and interpersonal skills. As a Restaurant Manager, Supplier Manager, and Juice Bar Manager, you will ensure high standards of food quality, customer service, inventory management, and supplier coordination while creating an inviting environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:Restaurant Management:- Operations Oversight: Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, efficient workflow, and exceptional guest experiences.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate restaurant staff, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure that guests receive the best possible dining experience.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Oversee budgeting, financial reports, and profit/loss analysis to ensure the restaurant operates within budgetary constraints. Implement strategies to optimize cost control and maximize profitability.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health codes, and sanitation guidelines, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to review and develop the menu, ensuring that offerings are consistently high quality and aligned with customer preferences.
- Marketing & Promotions: Develop marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to drive traffic and increase revenue.
Supplier Management:- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food, beverages, and other necessary products.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track usage, and place orders to ensure the restaurant is stocked with necessary supplies while minimizing waste.
- Negotiations & Pricing: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, manage contracts, and ensure the highest quality of products.
- Supply Chain Efficiency: Ensure seamless coordination between suppliers, restaurant operations, and the kitchen, preventing delays and shortages.
- Sustainability: Implement eco-friendly and sustainable practices in sourcing ingredients and packaging materials, as appropriate.
Juice Bar Management:- Juice Bar Operations: Oversee all aspects of juice bar management, including product preparation, customer service, inventory, and staff management.
- Product Development: Research and create innovative juice, smoothie, and wellness drink offerings to meet customer demands and dietary preferences (e.g., organic, vegan, low-sugar options).
- Customer Experience: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, provide recommendations, and educate customers on the benefits of various juice and smoothie options.
- Quality Control: Monitor quality standards for all juice bar products, ensuring consistency and freshness in all items served.
- Staff Training: Train juice bar staff in proper blending techniques, equipment usage, hygiene standards, and customer service skills.
- Sales Targets: Drive sales for the juice bar, create promotions, and monitor performance to achieve set revenue goals.
Qualifications:- Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in restaurant management, supplier coordination, or juice bar management. Prior experience in the food and beverage industry is highly preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to motivate, manage, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting in a hospitality setting.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Understanding of juice bar products, including dietary and nutritional benefits of various ingredients.
- Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities and keen attention to detail in managing operations, inventory, and staff schedules.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety standards and health regulations in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Technology: Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and basic office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:- Food & Beverage Management Certification: Formal qualifications or certifications in hospitality management, food safety, or similar.
- Juice Bar Experience: Knowledge of health-conscious food and beverage trends, particularly in smoothie and juice bar offerings.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Experience with sustainable sourcing, eco-friendly practices, and reducing food waste in a restaurant environment.
