Full-time: 40 hours As a
Senior Business Analyst, you will:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Finance & Risk IT projects.
- Translate high-level requirements into data models and warehouse designs.
- Lead impact assessments and solution designs for new requests affecting Finance & Internal reporting.
- Work closely with business representatives, architects, and agile/scrum teams to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Support decision-making on program and tribe level by delivering clear, structured documentation and analysis.
You will contribute directly to the development of a
new group-wide Finance & Risk Data Platform (GRFD), a critical initiative supporting both internal management reporting and external regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities ✅ Collect and refine requirements in collaboration with stakeholders. ✅ Design data warehouse solutions including data models (DataVault, dimensional). ✅ Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal reporting standards (e.g., BCBS 239). ✅ Guide scrum teams with functional and data-driven specifications. ✅ Maintain an overview across multiple squads and complex program areas.
Your Profile ✔️
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Consultant, Product Owner, or Solution Architect. ✔️ Fluent in
English, Dutch is a plus. ✔️ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. ✔️ Strong background in
Finance and Risk within the financial sector (banking preferred). ✔️ Experience in
financial environments with regulatory or reporting requirements. ✔️ Knowledge of and hands-on experience with:
- Data warehousing concepts and solutions
- SQL (models, queries, and differences between approaches)
- Data modelling techniques (dimensional modelling, DataVault)
- ETL processes and tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter)
- SAP HANA (preferred but not mandatory)
✔️ Experience in large-scale transformation or regulatory programs.
Compensation: - Gross monthly salary: €5,000 – €5,600 (based on experience) excluding benefits.
