Senior Game Software Engineer with strong experience across
game engines, rendering systems, animation pipelines and real-time state management.
This is not standard software development — this is pure
game engineering, building fast, visually rich, high-performance games from scratch.

$250,000 incl super + bonusWhat You’ll Work On- Develop game engines and core client systems using Pixi.js / Phaser / custom frameworks
- Implement and optimise animations, sprites, VFX, rendering pipelines
- Ensure smooth frame rates, efficient memory use and high-performance gameplay
- Build and maintain math engines, RNG logic, pay tables
- Collaborate with designers, artists and backend engineers to bring concepts to life
- Contribute to UI using React, but the role is primarily game-engine focused
- Integrate frontend game logic with backend services (Go / Node.js)
- Own performance profiling, testing, and optimisation across devices
What You Need- Strong background in game development (casino, casual, mobile, AAA, browser)
- Hands-on experience with Pixi.js, Phaser, Unity, Cocos2d or similar engines
- Deep knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript for game logic
- Experience with:
- Rendering loops, animation systems, sprites, WebGL/canvas
- Game math, RNG accuracy & compliance
- Real-time state management & deterministic logic
- Performance optimisation (FPS, load times, memory)
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, optimisation & gameplay architecture
Nice to Have- Experience with Go or Node.js
- Exposure to AWS/GCP/Azure for scalable backend game services
- Docker/Kubernetes
- CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
