Job_Summary: Greenlight Financial Technology is the leading family fintech company on a mission to help parents raise financially smart kids. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack to focus on core web initiatives, support web teams, and contribute to backend services, ensuring the delivery of a reliable and scalable platform.
Responsibilities: • Building new experiences for the Greenlight website. • Support all web development within Greenlight. • Providing mentorship and support for web teams. • Defining standards and best practices. • Determining technologies for web development. • Work with product and design teams to continuously add incremental features while balancing new features and tech debt. • Scaling and maintaining backend services to evolve with new feature requests and support our growing user base. • Improving the reliability and availability of the platform.
Qualifications:
-Required: • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent • 3+ years software development experience • The ability to context switch frequently in a fast-paced environment • An eye towards performance, scalability, and observability • Experience building single page applications using a modern framework • Experience building REST apis • Recent experience building backend services using node.js
-Preferred: • Kotlin experience preferred
