Truck Driver

Truck DriverDuties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle pre-start checks
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Connecting and disconnecting trailers
• Transporting machinery and equipment between work sites
• Transporting soil and rock products between sites
• Follow strict workplace and safety procedures

Hours of work- Monday to Friday 07:00AM to 04:00PM. Some weekend and after hours work as required.Requirements:

• Current MC Drivers Licence or equivalent (Essential)
• Experience in operating Side Tipper combinations (Highly regarded)
• Experience in operating a Front-End Loader (Highly regarded)
• Experience driving road-trains (Highly regarded)
• Experience in operating rear-tippers (Highly regarded)
• Experience driving on dirt/bush roads
• Forklift licence (highly regarded)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment commercial drivers medical & DAS
• Ability to travel as required by the business (required)
• Current first-aid certificate (or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment)- Required

Job Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:

• Alice Springs NT 0870: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Driving: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• MC Licence (Preferred)
