TIG/ Pipe Welder (LMIA)

Our client, a leading stainless steel piping fabricators is hiring Pipe Welder's on a permanent basis. LMIA Support Available!!! Responsibilities:

• Welding of various stainless steel and nickel-alloy spooling according to procedures
• Examining completed welds to ensure they are free of defects and conform to various ASME Codes
• Take prepared metal components and fit together per drawings.
• Set up and operate welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using various welding techniques, to complete the project.
• Operate manual MIG & TIG & SMAW welding machines
• Finish welds (e.g. grinding, cleaning).
• Inspect product to ensure it is structurally sound and adheres to quality standards.
• Communicate any machine or production problem that may affect the desired output to the Production Manager.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience welding stainless steel and nickel alloy pipe.
• GTAW experience is mandatory
• Proficiency in SMAW, FCAW and GMAW welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to adapt quickly from project to project as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work day or afternoon shifts
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
