Site Supervisor (or Foreman) at JRA Construction is responsible for leading construction activities on-site and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to New Zealand building standards.
Main responsibilities:Supervise daily construction work on site.Coordinate carpenters, labourers, subcontractors, and suppliers.Read and follow construction drawings and specifications.Monitor project progress and help keep work on schedule.Inspect workmanship and ensure quality meets the New Zealand Building Code.Enforce health and safety requirements, including toolbox meetings and hazard management.Maintain site records and report progress to the Project Manager.Manage materials, tools, and equipment.Train and support apprentices and junior workers.
Requirements:Experience in residential or commercial construction.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to read construction plans.Knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code.Site Safe certification (preferred or required).Carpentry or construction trade background is an advantage.Pay: $8,500.00 – $10,500.00 per monthBenefits:
