Mo te tunga | About the role Join a team of psychologists across Auckland, where you'll make a real impact. In this role, you'll work with diverse populations to support positive change and enhance community safety. Work directly with individuals at high risk of reoffending, using a range of tailored psychological interventions. Services are provided to both men and women across prison and community settings. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in challenging situations and is dedicated to promoting positive change within the corrections system. You are a skilled communicator with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. You excel in professional environments where teamwork and mutual support are valued. You are proactive in seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth, eager to contribute to the outcomes of initiatives like Hokai Rangi, which focuses on achieving positive outcomes for Maori within the justice system. Whether you're just starting your career or seeking to advance in a development-focused service, you hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology (Clinical or Forensic Psychology) and are registered with the NZ Psychologist Board in the clinical/counselling or general scope of practice. Nga painga | The benefits The full salary range is $83,286 - $133,370 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect clinical competency, skills, and experience relevant to the role. Frontline Psychologists also can work towards additional allowances and allocated professional development funding. We may also offer flexible and/or part-time options for working hours. International Relocation Package Ara Poutama has relocation packages available for candidates relocating from overseas. For international applicants, please confirm your eligibility to register as a psychologist in New Zealand.
  • Freight forward of $10,000.
