Restaurant Manager

Vin Populi Restaurant is looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front of house team and be an integral part of our day-to-day operations.Located in Fremantle’s West End, Vin Populi is known for its vibrant atmosphere, warm service, fresh house made pasta, salumi, and vino — all delivered with genuine hospitality at the core. About the roleAs Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily service, leading and developing the FOH team, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint. You will work closely with the owners and kitchen management to maintain smooth operations and uphold Vin Populi’s standards. Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and service flow
• Lead, train and motivate the front-of-house team
• Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality
• Manage staff rostering, payroll and labour costs
• Handle reservations, guest feedback and service recovery professionally
• Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety and liquor licensing requirements
• Work collaboratively with kitchen management to ensure seamless service
• Assist with ordering, stock control and cost management

About you

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a busy venue
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
• Passion for hospitality, food and wine
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Strong understanding of service standards and guest experience
• Full Australian working rights
