Role OverviewAs Shopkeeper, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our convenience and off-license retail store. You’ll lead a small team, manage inventory, ensure compliance with licensing regulations, and deliver excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and staff rotas
• Manage stock levels, place orders, and monitor deliveries
• Provide product information and resolve customer queries
• Maintain accurate financial records and authorize payments
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety standards
• Implement merchandising and promotional strategies
• Manage store security and loss prevention
• Monitor sales performance and identify growth opportunities

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or convenience store management preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Basic bookkeeping and financial acumen
• Familiarity with off-license regulations (training provided if needed)
• Right to work in the UK (we conduct right-to-work checks)
