Job Description:

We are a large department with over 170 academic and teaching staff, and the department sits at the nexus of a broad range of interdisciplinary collaborations across UCL. About the role The post-holder would be expected to teach modules on several MEng/MSc programmes in the context of Robotics & AI and to contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high-quality curriculum and associated administrative tasks. Areas that we aim at covering include but are not limited to: AI in Robotics; Electronics and Embedded Systems; Signal Processing; Mechanical Engineering; Mechatronics and Making; Reinforcement Learning, with interest to ground, mobile, aerial, underwater, and manipulation robots. Second, please submit a single supporting document, of no more than 10 pages, which includes your personal, teaching, research and diversity statements. This role meets the eligibility requirements for a skilled worker certificate of sponsorship or a global talent visa under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL welcomes applications from international applicants who require a visa. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible. About you You should have a PhD in Robotics, AI, or a closely related field and be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding across a range of core topics including robotics, control, machine learning, sensor fusion, and other topics related to real-world deployment of robotic systems.
