Motel Manager Wanted – Mount Barker, WAA well-maintained 3.5-star, 25-room Valley View Motel in Mount Barker (Albany and Great Southern region, WA) is seeking an experienced, professional, and energetic manager to live on-site and oversee the day-to-day operations of the motel. About the RoleThis is a hands-on, live-in position ideally suited to someone with prior experience in motel or similar hospitality management. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and reporting directly to the owners. Key Responsibilities

• Front office and reception duties
• Housekeeping supervision and hands-on cleaning
• Monitoring general maintenance and gardening
• Managing bookings (via a simple, user-friendly system)
• Guest relations and conflict resolution
• Sales, marketing, and business development (particularly in the corporate/trade sectors)
• Maintaining high presentation standards of the property inside and out

• Proven motel or hospitality management experience
• Confidence in managing all aspects of motel operations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong administrative and computer literacy
• Leadership qualities and a proactive attitude
• Honest, reliable, and well-presented
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high guest satisfaction
• Marketing skills and initiative to grow the business
• Ability to work independently across various duties
• Contactable referees and a current police clearance
