■ Job Purpose The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for overseeing complex financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making. This role manages month-end and year-end closing processes, leads audit preparation, and contributes to the development of financial policies and controls. The Senior Financial Accountant also provides guidance to junior accounting staff and plays a key role in treasury management, budgeting, and financial analysis to enhance the organization's financial performance and integrity. ■ Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal policies.- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.- Oversee treasury operations, including daily cash flow monitoring, forecasting, fund transfers, and optimizing working capital.- Lead Capex accounting processes by tracking capital expenditure, ensuring accurate classification, capitalization, and depreciation of fixed assets.- Manage lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842, including lease recognition, modification, and reporting in the general ledger.- Lead the preparation of the consolidated reporting package for group financial statements.- Ensure compliance with financial controls and develop improvements in processes, systems, and reporting accuracy.- Support the budgeting and forecasting process with insights on cash flow, capital spending, and lease obligations.- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, preparing schedules and resolving queries efficiently.- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff and contribute to cross-functional financial projects. ■ Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or related field- 3-10 year experience in applicable field- Proficiency in MS Office- SAP Experience ■ Preferred Qualifications- MBA or equivalent preferred- Bilingual in Korean or multi-lingual associate is preferred- CPA is preferred but not required ■ Core Competencies- Strong organizational and time management skills- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities- High attention to detail and confidentiality- Adaptability and willingness to take initiative- Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural and multilingual environment- Proactive communication and collaboration skills ■ Compensation & Benefits- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications- Annual performance-based bonus- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance- Company-sponsored retirement savings plan (e.g., 401(k) or equivalent)- Paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick leave)- Visa sponsorship for eligible international candidates- Relocation support (if applicable)- Employee wellness programs and professional development opportunities
