THE OPPORTUNITYThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Aluminium Fabricator & Installer to help build and develop this area of the business and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers.Reporting to the Glazing Divisional Manager we are seeking a highly qualified and competent person who can provide the business with the expertise required to expand our service portfolio but at the same time maintain our reputation of delivering superior service levels.Key responsibilities include the following:

• Developing & maintaining customer relationships
• Attending site and obtaining clear & accurate scope of works
• Advising clients on product range and effective solutions
• Measuring and documenting dimensions for estimating purposes
• Producing clear & accurate paperwork for glass and aluminium orders
• Fabrication & installation of aluminium product range
• Completing work sheet documentation for invoicing purposes
• Be responsible for company glazing vehicle including tools & equipment
• Wear company supplied workwear and PPE at all times
• Assist colleagues and provide support to other functions within the division as required
• Maintain exceptional standards for safety compliance and quality assurance
• Manage customer relationships on site & provide information back to office and admin team
• Provide customers with professional advice and superior service levels

SKILLS & EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate will have:

• Trade qualified glazier with an AQF Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or a minimum of 3+ years experience in lieu of qualification
• Experience reading building plans & architectural drawing documentation
• Estimating and tendering for work experience desirable
• Proven track record in fabrication & installation of aluminium products
• Complete tasks in accordance with AS1288 and company safety & quality standards
• Complete tasks in accordance with company SWMS documentation
• Driving licence
• White card

You must have a great work ethic and positive attitude to get the work completed to the highest possible standard within tight deadlines, whilst always remaining polite and professional.
