We’re growing, and we’re looking for a
Commercial Advisor / Contract Administrator who can operate with autonomy, handle complexity, and own matters end-to-end.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and energised by fast-paced work, varied clients, and genuine commercial impact. This role will stretch you, reward you, and set you up for rapid progression.
The role requires a broad range of responsibilities, from menial to complex. If you have a narrow view of what your role should entail, this is not the job for you.
We currently have multiple clients looking for capable secondees to be placed into live projects to support the team in getting the project off the ground and to assist in the resolution of complex commercial matters.
The Role You will work directly with clients across the construction lifecycle; from early-stage procurement through to claims, disputes, and project delivery. You’ll be embedded into client problems, not just their paperwork.
It is essential that you are able to work in Western Sydney
You will:
- Run your own matters, analysis, documentation and client liaison
- Provide commercial advisory services to contractors, developers and project teams, including placement into live jobs
- Prepare and defend complex claims including EOTs, variations, latent conditions, payment claims and SOPA matters
- Manage insurance claims from the insurer side, including evaluation, documentation and negotiation
- Support clients in project delivery, risk management and commercial governance
- Build internal frameworks, systems and tools that lift commercial performance across the business
- Adapt your approach to suit varied client environments - from boardrooms to site sheds
This is a highly varied role with exposure to sectors including residential, healthcare, schools, data centres, commercial, industrial, fitout and infrastructure.
WHO YOU AREYou are commercially sharp, technically grounded and confident enough to make decisions.
You have:
- 5–10+ years’ experience in contract administration, contract management, or commercial advisory
- Strong background from a tiered contractor or advisory business
- Experience in claims management; EOTs, delay, variations, SOPA, latent conditions and the like
- Experience in project tendering
- Experience in project contract administration / management
- Working understanding of delay analysis methodologies
- Fluent knowledge of AS standard forms (AS4902, AS2124, AS4000 etc.) and bespoke contracts generally used in the Australian market
- Strong grasp of procurement processes, risk allocation and commercial principles
