Position: Stonemason Fabricators & Installers
Factory Location: Truganina, Melbourne
Job Type: Full time
Starting Time: ASAP
Schedule: 40 hrs per week
Salary: $40 - $45 per hr plus Super & Overtime
Your key duties
- Fabrication and installation of natural and engineered stone on residential and commercial projects
- Cutting, shaping and polishing stone with different types of machinery and hand tools
- Measuring, glueing and manufacturing custom stone products
- Working on custom-designed kitchens and other custom stone projects
- Involvement in all aspects of the fabrication process including glueing, polishing etc
- Installation of stone products on residential and commercial premises as needed
- Packing stone & slabs onto A frames in preparation for delivery
- Following OH&S directions and maintaining a safe working environment
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the industry
- Strong understanding of the fabrication process
- Experience with installation of benchtops on commercial & residential sites is highly desirable
- Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and drawings
- Bridge saw & Waterjet experience is a bonus
- Full Australian work Rights
- Valid Driving licence
- White Card
- Strong attention to detail
