We are seeking an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced workshop environment. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and components
• Dismantle and reassemble engine assemblies, transmissions, and steering systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups, etc.)
• Repair or replace worn and defective parts using service manuals where required
• Conduct computer-based diagnostic testing to identify faults
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Test and adjust mechanical components after repairs
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily service targets

Skills & Experience

• AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, AQF Certificate IV, or at least three years of relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a busy automotive workshop
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and computerised systems
• Excellent work ethic and self-motivation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
