The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Senior Project Manager to lead our critical Business Development initiatives across Asia. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of
project management discipline,
strategic business acumen, and a proven ability to close and execute high-value deals and partnerships. You will be responsible for driving new revenue streams and managing the full lifecycle of major commercial projects from negotiation to successful delivery.Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy (50%)- Identify and Qualify: Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across target markets in Asia (e.g., Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia, etc.).
- Deal Leadership: Lead and support the full sales cycle for complex, high-value projects, including initial prospecting, proposal development, commercial negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute tailored market entry strategies and business plans to expand Meta Connects' footprint and offerings in new Asian territories.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior-level external stakeholders, clients, and partners.
Project & Program Management (50%)- End-to-End Execution: Oversee the successful end-to-end delivery of all secured business development projects, ensuring adherence to agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Governance & Reporting: Establish and maintain robust project governance, including status reporting, performance tracking, and regular updates to the Executive Team and clients.
- Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies. Manage scope changes through formal change control processes.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate internal and external cross-functional teams (including Sales, Legal, Finance, and Technical teams) to ensure seamless project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience Essential- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in Project Management, Business Development, or a related field, with a significant focus on Asia-Pacific markets.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex, multi-million dollar commercial projects from initial concept to closure.
- Demonstrable expertise in deal structuring, contract negotiation, and relationship management with senior client stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
- Strong project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certification) or equivalent practical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a relevant technical field.
Highly Desirable- Working proficiency in a major Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) to facilitate effective regional engagement.
- Experience working in a technology, consulting, or highly-regulated industry.
- Familiarity with financial budgeting, forecasting, and sales pipeline management (e.g., using CRM tools like MS Dynamics).
