Job_Summary: Goldman Sachs is a multinational financial services firm providing securities, investment banking, and management services. The role involves working on initiatives for building new and innovative solutions for Post Trade strategy, collaborating with multiple engineering teams to design and build foundational services.
Responsibilities: • You will be working closely with multiple engineering teams front to back to help design and build various front office foundational services and help onboard businesses onto the strategic booking and reconciliation platform. • You will work with some of the best minds in the industry and get an opportunity to interact with various engineering teams across the globe to achieve common goals front to back.
Qualifications: -Required: • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field • 1 to 4 years of experience in software development • A solid understanding of object orientated programming skills (Java or any other OO technology) including data structures and algorithms • Sound SDLC practices and ability to debug and troubleshoot problems • Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated • Experience collaborating in global teams and possesses strong interpersonal skills • Familiarity with automated testing, DevOps and Continuous Deployment -Preferred: • Familiarity with Git, awareness of CI/CD and other modern SDLC practice • Experience in modern message-oriented middleware e.g. Kafka • Knowledge of Financial Services is an added advantage
