Occupational Therapist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Truganina. You will provide evidence-based assessments and interventions to support clients in improving their independence, functional capacity, and overall quality of life.This role involves working with a diverse caseload, supporting individuals with developmental, neurological, and functional challenges within a client-centered and neuro-affirming framework. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive functional assessments (motor skills, ADLs, sensory processing, cognitive abilities)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable outcomes
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to improve independence and daily functioning
• Provide education and practical strategies to clients, families, and caregivers
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including allied health professionals and support workers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within NDIS framework
• Knowledge of sensory integration and functional capacity building
• Experience with diverse age groups and clinical presentations
