Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and compassionate
Occupational Therapist to join our team in Truganina. You will provide evidence-based assessments and interventions to support clients in improving their independence, functional capacity, and overall quality of life.This role involves working with a diverse caseload, supporting individuals with developmental, neurological, and functional challenges within a client-centered and neuro-affirming framework.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments (motor skills, ADLs, sensory processing, cognitive abilities)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable outcomes
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to improve independence and daily functioning
- Provide education and practical strategies to clients, families, and caregivers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including allied health professionals and support workers
Requirements- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills- Experience working within NDIS framework
- Knowledge of sensory integration and functional capacity building
- Experience with diverse age groups and clinical presentations
