Associate Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced associate attorney to join our dynamic legal team at King L. Wu & Associates, P.C., located in Flushing, New York. Committed to providing exceptional legal services to our diverse clientele, a well-rounded background in different areas of law is essential to this position. Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Assist in all aspects of the discovery process, including document review and preparation.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted in the State of New York
• 1-3 years of experience in litigation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex legal issues and provide effective solutions.
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills, enabling the meeting of deadlines and effective prioritization of tasks
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and case management software to enhance productivity and streamline workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in immigration and criminal law a plus

Salary range: $55,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)At King L.
