What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain complex systems in Python, Java, C#, C++, or .NET
• Solve challenging problems in concurrency, low-latency, distributed architectures
• Mentor engineers and elevate the technical bar across the team
• Define best practices in testing, CI/CD, deployment, and observability

What We Expect

• Degree, Masters or PHD from a Russell Group university or equivalent
• 6 - 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in demanding environments
• Deep theoretical understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design
• Proven experience building high-performance, reliable, and scalable systems
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to make and defend decisions under pressure

Package

• £120,000 – £180,000 base salary
• Performance-based bonus - 10 - 20%
• Pension & benefits
• Visa sponsorship available
