Chef to join our dynamic team at our iconic venue located at
136 Barker Street, Casino NSW 2470.Established in 1859, Tattersall Hotel Casino is the oldest hotel in the region, offering a country-style bistro, renovated accommodation, a beer garden, and live entertainment in the heart of the Northern Rivers. We pride ourselves on providing quality food and a welcoming experience to locals and visitors alike.
About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Chef who is passionate about producing high-quality meals and can manage kitchen operations efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to prepare and deliver a consistent menu of hearty Australian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook menu items in line with recipes and standards
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure kitchen cleanliness and safety
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Contribute to menu planning and special event catering
Requirements:- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays
Salary:An annual salary of
$75,000 plus statutory superannuation is offered for this position.
