Sales Executive is responsible for promoting Tanera Transport freight transportation services includes FCL and LCL, drayage, Customs brokerage, warehousing, domestic trucking through the achievement of opportunity based marketing quotas. The Sales Executive will reach business targets through telephone sales and communication skills. The lead generated by this individual will help to grow logistics sales for Tanera by following up on sales leads, dormant customers, prospect lists, and ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.
- Help Tanera grow by building a strong pipeline, finding new opportunities and keeping current customers.
- Offer a full range of supply chain services, including ocean, air, warehousing & distribution, LTL & FTL transportation, cargo insurance and customs brokerage services.
- Use your expertise to guide clients through their supply chain challenges.
- Find new business opportunities by networking and researching the market.
- Be well educated in all Tanera products and services.
- Use Monday.com (CRM) to track client information and measure your success.
- Work closely with OP and Customer Service team to ensure clients get what they need.
- Travel to meet clients when needed.
- Stay in touch with other departments and overseas offices.
- Montior and research the international freight forwarding market and trend.
Qualifications: Sponsorship Opportunity – Account Executive: 1. Tanera will consider to provide H1B visa sponsorship for this position if performance reaches expectations. Please note, to be eligible for this role you will need to meet minimum VISA requirements, e.g. OPT.2. Bilingual in Mandarin is required since salesperson needs to contact overseas offices when needed.
- 2-3 years experience in freight forwarding sales would be a plus
- Meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly marketing goals
- Excellent negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and networking skills
- Associates degree or related work experience.
- Bilingual in Mandarin or 2nd language is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Solid experience in lead qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
- Self-motivated and a strong work ethic
