Gentle Giant Moving Company LLC Job Order for SWA Employer: Gentle Giant Moving Company LLC 7 McKay Avenue Winchester, MA 01890 (617) 806-1160 1) Job Opportunity: 15 Temporary, full-time openings for movers 2) Job duties: Manually move, prepare, pack, load, and unload boxes, furniture, and other household or office items into/off trucks for transport. Workers will report to 100 Bowne St., Brooklyn, NY 11231 and travel to customer locations within the surrounding metropolitan statistical area.

  • Rate of overtime pay: $32.37 per hour 6) Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. 7) Frequency of pay: Bi-Weekly 8) Employer does offer pay above the hourly wage rate depending on experience and at Employers discretion. 9) Boarding options: Employer does not provide boarding options. 10) Employer will make all deductions for workers paycheck as required by law. Employer may allow deductions not required by law as long as advance permission is granted by employee or Employer will state the specific deductions. 11) If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed early, employer will provide or pay for the workers reasonable costs of return transportation and daily subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. 12) Employer will pay for the workers cost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker, disregarding intervening employment, departed to work for the employer, if the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed from employment for any reason by the employer before the end of the period, as is also outlined above. 13) Employer does provide daily transportation to the worksites.
