Growing Tree Montessori Preschool Location: 31935 Via Rio Temecula Rd., Temecula OPENING POSITION: Montessori Certificated Teacher Job Type: Full Time or Part Time Job DescriptionThe Montessori Teacher is a guide who must be able to do the following communicate effectively with their parents, and other staff:Provide quality, nurturing care to child enrolled in the school.Must demonstrate skills to properly address developmental needs of child and help direct the children in their care with activities the support the child academically, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy and procedures.The teacher will ensure that the physical environment adheres to all health and safety regulations as required by the State of California.Knowledge of Title 22 regulations required, or knowledge of how to refer to Title 22 regulations per Child CareTends to children's personal hygiene needs, remaining especially attentive to them during routines such as diaper changing, cleaning, feeding, and changing soiled or wet clothes.Maintains a safe, clean, care-giving environment, practices good personal hygiene and hand washing, and assures the well-being and safety of all of the children in that environment.Participates in general housekeeping duties Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:

• A desire to work with children through positive interaction is required.
• Prior experiences in childcare center required.
• Montessori certified. AMS, AMI, OR Other Montessori certified training
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• 12 units of childcare education units required (At least 6 unit to start and obtained within the first 3 months of employment).
• Continuing education classes preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required within the first 30-days of employment.
• TB test and Clean background check required before the first day of work.
• Good time management, oral and written communication required. Dependable, flexible, and a team player required.
• Be able to lift to 40 lbs. Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements
