Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. • Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.
• Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Take patient medical histories and record vital signs as required.
• Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Manage appointment schedules and maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental practice.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in dental nursing.

Skills

• Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
• A genuine passion for patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
• Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments effectively.
