Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of office management practices. This role involves supervising staff, managing human resources functions, and ensuring the smooth running of office procedures to support overall business objectives. The successful applicant will be instrumental in maintaining an efficient, professional, and welcoming environment for both staff and clients. Duties
  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation across all departments
  • Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to optimise team performance
  • Manage human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping, invoicing, and expense tracking
  • Maintain accurate records of office supplies and organise procurement as needed
  • Handle correspondence via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Implement organisational systems to streamline workflow and improve productivity
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and company events with attention to detail
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to employment and data protection
  • Provide administrative support to senior management as required

Experience
  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a professional environment
  • Supervising experience with a track record of leading teams effectively
  • Familiarity with human resources procedures including recruitment and employee engagement
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with good phone etiquette
  • Demonstrated ability to manage office supplies, schedules, and administrative workflows effectively
  • Prior experience in clerical or administrative roles that showcase attention to detail and professionalism
