Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT or payroll tax returns for individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts.
  • Expert utilisation of a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
  • Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients, including analysing financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performance
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery
  • Recognizing potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promoting the firm and its services to both clients and associates.
  • Involving in team training and mentoring with responsibilities to help grow the team’s knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years’ experience within an accounting firm, with strong technical skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar and working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications;
  • Australian TAX experience/BAS experience;
  • A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Expertise using accounting software including APS, MYOB and cloud-based tools e.g., Xero, QuickBooks.
  • Chinese speaking desirable, but not essential. 
  • Have work full working rights, Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status in Australia. Visa sponsorship available to a candidate with Australian experience.
